About a week ago, I tried to convince my friend, Justin de Guzman, to join Beatport’s Tegan and Sara – Closer Remix Contest. I know that he is a busy guy and that it would be a long shot, but I had nothing to lose. Of course, that meant that I kept bugging him about the contest.

Over the weekend, he informed me that he was downloading the parts of the song so he could work on his entry. The great thing about being the person who talked him into joining is that I got regular progress updates.
My first real job after graduating was an 11-hour work day on a holiday. My former professor (who is slowly become a good friend), Atty. Katrina Doble, contacted me for the job a few weeks ago. I am so glad I did not turn it down as I badly needed to refresh my creative juices.

I would not have been able to survive without my favorite grip (and more!), Yaya Susan. She is so good at keeping me in check. I could not ask for anyone better!
And then a few days ago, I was asked to give a talk on photography some time next year, and I’m pretty excited about it! Looking forward to sharing what I have learned thus far.
Also, since I am part of the St. Paul College Pasig Alumnae Association, I hope I can do the same for SPCP some time in the future, too!
Never regret because at one point, it was exactly what you wanted/needed.
It feels good to have people believe in what I do– helps lessen the doubts I have with my life choices.
Whoever said that “going to art school is useless” might have been out of his mind when he said that. Slowly fulfilling my life goals! Paying it forward one step at a time because learning never ends!
